Pursusing your Passion in your Content - How I did it, why I did it (and how you can too!)

I've always been a passionate person in life.

I loved really feeling myself into everything, being excited and enthusiastic.

I put my heart into everything

  • school

  • creating content

  • watching movies and series

and it felt amazing.

"If you're not passionate - what's the point?"

That's kinda been my life philosophy (even if I never wrote it out.)

If you don't enjoy what you're doing - if you don't have fun - what's the point?

Yet, when I started creating content on Twitter (now consistently, daily and to an audience that's not just my friends), I put that aside.

Why?

Many tweets were telling me

  • "Don't pursue your passion"

  • "Make money first, then pursue it"

What I interpreted from them was

  1. I should only focus on writing

  2. I should post value, not what I enjoy.

And for 2 months, it was that way.

And the weaknesses were starting to show.

  • I didn't have a lot of fun

  • I was stuck on 30 followers

  • Most of my posts didn't even get 1 like

And I was thinking "I just have to keep staying consistent"

But then, one account would change it all.

A girl my age was at 3000 followers (literally 100 TIMES my followers)

And she wasn't just posting "value", but also stories and (get this) MEMES!

Shoutout to Valeria, btw. She's the reason I'm posting memes in the first place

This proved to me that you can build a strong brand doing what you love.

So this started my meme journey on Twitter...

My first meme sucked (of course)

The caption was way too long and not clearly messaged.

But looking at others, I knew that:

a) people loved memes

Because they bring topics across in an enjoyable and simple way.

And of course, they're funny!

And:

b) I was pretty good at making them quickly

I had been editing photos and videos for YEARS now.

So I was extremely fast at

  • getting creative ideas

  • executing them in minutes

And all of this led to me starting to post them on Twitter.

And guess what happened?

I wasn't just starting to have more fun... I was also growing more.

What does this mean?

Passion = more Growth

While Memes were just ONE factor alongside

  • engaging a lot

  • optimizing my profile

  • making more friends

They were definitely what made people remember me.

And this was showing:

My normal tweets mostly got around 5-10 likes.

My memes were getting 30-50!

This was actually one of the first memes I ever posted ;)

I grew from 50 to 400 over the next month.

And then, I made a huge discovery:

I could use memes to stand out in the comments.

I would post personalized memes for BIG creators.

I'd sit there with the notifications on for my favorite BIG creators - waiting to get meme potential.

And when a Tweet popped up, I was FAST.

I could get ideas on how to turn it into a meme in less than a minute.

(I'll be showing you how to make memes quickly in my free meme guide soon ;)

The effects started popping up immediately:

  • I made my first 50$ online

  • I grew from 400 to 1000 in the next month

  • I got followed by many of my favorite creators

I had gotten these insane results... simply for posting memes.

So after 0 zero growth for two months and INSANE growth for the next two, I realized:

Using your passion is a gamechanger

Now, some common objections will be

  • "You can't monetize an audience with passion!"

  • "You're losing out on a lot of potential income!"

And don't get me wrong here.

I'm not telling you to drop everything and go all in on your passion (but you could do that if you wanted).

No, I'm telling you to use your passion as your greatest tool.

Your passion is your weapon

I believe that everyone has a few passions.

ONE, creative and deep-rooted one that takes form in content (beautiful writing, video-making, music, art).

ONE that’s rooted in a few smaller topics all leading to one (what you write about, self-improvement, content, etc)

And one that prioritizes inner growth (Spirituality)

Why is this important?

Because it’s all part of the bigger picture.

You have to utilize all parts of your ultimate Purpose.

If you drop even one - the other will suffer.

You have to be CREATIVELY, WORKINGLY and INNERLY fulfilled.

(We’ll talk about Work and inner Growth later on)

But for now, we're here to make you more passionate.

So here's how YOU can integrate your passion in your content with:

The "Passion-Power" Framework:

1. Find out what your passion is (if you don’t know already)

This can be anything.

The only criteria it has to meet are

  • you can imagine it as a career

  • you can make better content with it

  • you could work on it for countless hours a day

Keep in mind, this won’t be easy for everyone — at least not for know.

If you're a musician or cook, it'll be harder to incorperate it.

But if you can't use it as content, use it for content.

Post about it, use metaphors in your writing, talk about your story, etc.

Everyone loves to see some hobbies and occasional authentic sights of you.

2. Find a way to incorporate it in a way that you love doing and that people love consuming (overlap between inner and outer interest)

Here's a secret for you:

I'm not passionate about memes.

At least not as my main passion.

My true passion is creating short films, edits, etc.

Memes are just what I like doing and what others like seeing.

Now how would you find that overlap as a cook or musician?

I don't know, to be honest.

But that's the point, if you wanna utilize your passion, you need to be creative.

3. Make the role will fit you and get attention for it (consistent output)

This is the clishé of "Rome wasn't built in a day"

Like Rome, it comes from nothing but an IDEA from the ground up.

If you have the passion to build on it forever, you'll get a fitting title (like Rome the "eternal city")

Of course, getting known for your passion takes less time than building a city.

But that's besides the point :)

Now, you might ask:

Results and Numbers are cool and all.

"But what are the REAL advantages of using your passion?"

And after seeing how passion impacted my life;

I've sorted it into the 5 biggest ones:

1. Passion drives you

There’s no way to become extraordinary if you aren’t passionate.

You can’t build a strong audience and stand out if you aren’t passionate in some form.

Think about it — the greatest filmmakers, actors, creators — they all have something in common, PASSION.

Because that alone is what allows you to

  • express yourself fully

  • work hours on end daily

  • not give up until you win

You simply can’t master a field if you don’t have that drive.

That’s exactly what separates you from the rest!

2.Pursuing your Passion makes you stand out (creates your NICHE)

My memes weren’t anything revolutionary, but two aspects of them were — SPEED and PERSONALIZATION.

Nobody else was editing people’s faces on memes or images.

I had practiced photo editing for my friends for years — I could make one in less than 5 MINUTES.

All of this came together and brought me my own niche and reputation.

And all because I decided to have some fun and goof around ;)

3. Your passion brings you attention

When you got on the timeline or in the comments — who are you gonna see first?

One of the countless platitudes or value tweets — or something unique and extraordinary?

This is why I’ve gotten retweets on many of my memes.

Novelty ALWAYS catches attention.

By pursuing your passion, you're

  • offering something unique

  • giving people a certain feeling

  • standing out from all the "normal" creators

Which makes people come back to you over and over again.

4. Your passion brings you opportunities

I made my first money online with a meme.

Yes — 50$ for a meme.

And I’m not the only one.

Francis Oleh, now at over 60,000 followers made his first money way back with Call of Duty.

It’s possible — in fact, it can bring you opportunities quicker than making an offer you don’t truly care about.

Why?

Because if you are the best at using your passion (or at least the one who stands out most):

People are bound to come to you for work in that field.

5. Passion builds a Loyal Audience

I regularly get shout-outs from friends, fans — even the big creators themselves [George Ten, Kieran Drew]

Because if you give people that certain, “new”, enjoyable feeling — it’s nearly impossible to not get constantly recommended.

And best of all:

Pursuing your Passion in the first place builds an audience that actively awaits your newest content.

That means there’s no chance that people won’t care (or you won’t be able to build an audience) when you pursue your passion.

So, what did we learn?

  • The best creators are driven by passion

  • Your passion makes you stand out, catch attention easily and become known for it — even get free advertisement

  • Your passion IS your weapon — utilizing it is the easiest way to grow and stand out

  • Your creative, work and inner passion all form your purpose together and should be used

And that’s it.

I hope you enjoyed this first little peak into my ideas :)

I'm still figuring all of this out so feedback is appreciated.

For now, I wish you a great rest of the weekend and until the next time!
